Player wellbeing

Keep gambling controlled and affordable

Set limits before play begins, treat every outcome as uncertain and stop when gambling affects money, time, relationships or wellbeing.

Before playing

Decide the boundaries in advance

  • Use only discretionary money, never essential expenses or borrowed funds.
  • Set a fixed spending limit and a separate time limit.
  • Avoid gambling when upset, tired, under pressure or impaired.
  • Do not treat a previous loss as a reason to continue.

Warning signs

Take a break when control starts slipping

Hiding play, chasing losses, increasing stakes, borrowing money or missing responsibilities are reasons to stop and seek support. Platform limit, timeout and self-exclusion tools should be used early rather than after harm becomes severe.

If you are concerned about your own or another person’s behaviour, contact an appropriate local support or healthcare service. This guide is not a counselling service.

Good to know

Bermain secara bertanggungjawab: tetapkan had, berehat dan dapatkan bantuan jika permainan sukar dikawal.
